Colomba Classica
Colomba Classica is a traditional, dove-shaped Italian Easter cake. It is similar to a panettone but with fresh candied orange in the cake and a coating of icing and almonds.
Ingredients: Soft wheat flour, candied orange peel from fresh (17%) (orange peels, sugar, lemon juice concentrate), butter, sugar, fresh eggs, fresh egg yolk, natural yeast, marsala, sicilian honey, inverted sugar, orange puree, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, cocoa butter, powdered skim milk, salt, natural flavorings: vanilla berries.
Topped with icing (fresh egg white, sugar, rice flour, flour apricot seeds, starch modified, flavorings), granulated sugar, and Sicilian almonds
May contain traces of other nuts.
