Cooking summer camp in New Jersey: the dates for 2025
We're thrilled to share the 2025 dates for our cooking summer camps in New Jersey for children and teenagers. A valuable opportunity for families wishing to introduce their children to the world of cooking, fostering a love for the kitchen that goes beyond mere technical skills.
Multiculturalism, self-organization, collaboration, time management, dealing with allergies and different types of eating habits are essential key concepts of our courses. The aim of the Healthy Italia kids summer camps has always been to help participants develop a range of cross-sectional skills. While the practical aspect is undoubtedly important, it's supported by learning and acquiring theoretical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team.
All the advantages of Healthy Italia's cooking summer camps
The demand for our summer camps is increasing year by year. This vote of confidence fills us with pride and spurs us to always maintain the high quality of our courses, as we are well aware of the numerous benefits that the children gain from this experience.
But what makes Healthy Italia's summer camps so popular? Here are some of the benefits we offer that parents appreciate the most:
- Authentic Italian cuisine at the center: Cristina is 100% Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine is in her DNA: pasta, risotto, lasagna, gnocchi, ravioli, pizza, and tiramisu are all part of her daily routine!
- Wide variety of menus: Each date focuses on a specific menu, as detailed in the calendar. Parents have a wide range of options for perfectly matching their favorite dishes with family needs!
- Classes with limited enrollment: To allow us to better support and help the children, each class consists of a maximum of 9 students.
- Individual workstations: Every child will have their own personal workstation complete with equipment, tools, and ingredients, in order to work independently and safely. The workstations are constantly cleaned and sanitized, and children are encouraged to wash their hands frequently.
- Safety first: Guided by our staff, children will begin to familiarize themselves with knives, stoves, and the main kitchen utensils that are also commonly found at home.
- Cooking and tasting: The activities are extremely hands-on, and children will be able to enjoy eating their own creations.
Healthy Italia has adopted a zero-waste philosophy: At the end of the cooking class, each child will be able to take home any leftover food and enjoy it with their family.
