Part Time Cooking Instructor and Guest Experience Lead

Healthy Italia is an Italian cooking school, retail store, and community gathering place in Madison, New Jersey. We teach hands on Italian cooking classes where guests cook everything from scratch at their own station, then sit down together to enjoy the meal they created.

We are looking for a Part Time Cooking Instructor who can help us create warm, joyful, memorable experiences for our guests.

This role is not only about cooking. It is about hospitality, connection, leadership, and making people feel cared for.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is warm, outgoing, genuine, joyful, and confident in front of people.

Culinary experience is a plus, but it is not required for the right person. We are open to candidates with experience in teaching, hospitality, sales, events, customer service, or management.

The right person is:

• Passionate about food and Italian culture.
• Comfortable leading a group.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed, even in a part time role.
• Available for evenings, weekends, private events, and seasonal needs.
• Willing to learn, be coached, and receive feedback.
• Able to manage guests, timing, assistants, and the flow of a class.
• Focused on creating a great guest experience, not just completing a task.

What You Will Do

• Lead hands on Italian cooking classes and private events.
• Teach guests how to prepare Italian recipes from scratch.
• Create a welcoming, organized, and joyful atmosphere.
• Guide guests step by step through the cooking process.
• Manage the timing and flow of the class.
• Work with assistants and support staff.
• Represent Healthy Italia with kindness, confidence, and care.
